Nestled into a peaceful hillside the project will provide both Assisted Living and Memory Care facilities for the elderly in a full-service continuing care retirement community. The three-story building will offer residents an option of living environments through studio apartments and one-bedroom units.
The facility includes common food service functions, special care and nursing services. An objective of the design team is the comfort of the inhabitants and consequently a focus of the project is to include outdoor site amenities such as a dining patio, a living area patio and a memory care patio.
Although the project requires only 33 parking spaces, VTBS has devised an additional 26 stalls in both surface parking and a subterranean garage to accommodate the residents and their guests.
