This project is part of a new ‘aging-in-place’ retirement community. The scope of work included a Type V-A, 2-story Assisted Living facility and a Type-I Skilled Nursing facility as well as a Memory Care facility and Medical Health Center.
The two buildings, separated by a two-hour area separation wall and seismic joint, include community spaces such as laundry, dining, commercial kitchen, living rooms, game rooms and outdoor courtyards to serve the elderly varying from very active and healthy to non-ambulatory.
